About us
A centre built by people who teach
First Class Learning Acton is run by co-managers Sayed and Alina — professional rigour, a passion for children's education, and deep roots in the Acton community.
The centre
Our two-floor centre on Bollo Bridge Road combines a bright main teaching floor — group tables, individual student storage, everything in its place — with quieter upstairs rooms for focused sessions, exams and smaller classes.
We're part of the First Class Learning network, with individualised programmes refined across hundreds of centres — and we run ours with the care of a local family business, because that's what it is.

Frequently asked questions
How does the free assessment work?
Book a time, bring your child in, and we assess their current level in Maths, English and Science. We then talk you through the results and recommend a starting point — there's no obligation to enrol.
What ages do you cover?
Reception through to GCSE, plus a dedicated resit pathway for post-16 students retaking GCSE Maths or English.
How are sessions structured?
Each child works through an individualised programme at their own pace, with a tutor guiding, marking and adjusting as they go. Progress is reviewed continuously and reported to parents.
How big are the groups?
Small — every child gets individual attention each session. Two-to-one and one-to-one formats are available where more focus is needed.
How does the Universal Credit reimbursement work?
We hold Ofsted voluntary childcare registration, which means eligible working families can claim back up to 85% of fees through Universal Credit childcare support. Ask us for the registration details you'll need for your claim.
Are staff DBS-checked?
Yes — every member of staff holds a current DBS check, without exception.
How do I book 11+ mocks or holiday courses?
Through the contact form or by phone — dates are released each term and places are limited.
Safeguarding & policies
Safeguarding comes first in everything we run. All staff are DBS-checked, the centre holds Ofsted voluntary childcare registration, and our safeguarding and welfare policies are available to any parent on request.
